2D Design ( week 1 )

This is what I did for my first 2D design class. We are asked to use only natural material to make a potrait of ourselves with a picture of us as a reference. So this is how my potrait looks like :

I started this with a simple sketch using pencil, then the first ingredients I used is the black rice for my specs. Then, I used oat meal for my face.

This is the final result, on the left is the picture of myself I chose and on the right the result.

I feel that this is probably a very good start for this 2D design class for me. I kinda starting to like this subject, interesting subject and I am really looking forward to do more such outstanding projects like this :)

Self-Potrait

Why paint on paper when you can paint anywhere you want? You can paint on walls, you can paint on leaves, you can paint the floor and you can paint your face! Lets put colors everywhere, color up the world, our world need more colors, imagine if colors do not exist, life will be so dull and dead, colors are like features, it changes with our emotions. In our world, we have whites, yellows, browns and blacks people. Director James Cameron created a new species of human alike creatures called Navi, there are fast, strong and beautiful. Sometimes I wish they really do exist, I wish that Pandora was real, I wish that I could ride on a Direhorse, I wish I could fly on a Great Leonopteryx and I wish neon color creatures exist. However, back to the reality about my self potrait. There is always a boy side of me in my personality, sometimes I do wish that I was a male, then I could be in a World Cup football team. Not only that, imagine if I was a boy, I could go out late night without worrying that someone would just kidnapped me, I could build up muscles, I could play the drums without looking rough, I don't have to worry too much about dressing and plus, I don't even have to wear bra! Being a female, everything is just dramatic. To be honest, girls are very hard to handle, we are very dramatic, sensitive and hard to understand. Laugh at me as hard as possible, but if I was given a chance to choose my own gender, I would prefer to be a male. By the way, all these are just my thoughts in a hidden corner of my brain, I am definitely straight. I have been to Germany but this is not enough for me. Above pictures are me, wishing that I was a footballer in the World Cup German soccer team.

Contextual Studies (1)

I have been set to a job to do research about self potrait. Basically I would start with the traditional potrait paintings in this modern generation. An artist from Barcelona, Spain named Ramon Gutierrez is a Spanish artist who are very good in traditional painting. These are a few paintings by him :

	I found this artist through deviantart which then caught my attention to know more about him.

All right, to be honest here traditional paintings did not fully catch my attention. What caught my full attention is this artist + photographer named Tyler Shield, he is my all time favourite professtional photographer and also a very unic artist.
This are one of his art work using true blood donated by 25 people.

Eventhough he did not produce a traditional painting on human potrait but imagine if he could combine his photography skills and also his art skills to produce a painting. It would be really outstanding. It is like using blood to paint, isn't it awesome?

First semester break (Singapore)

First trip on the first day of holiday, SINGAPORE! Me and two of my cousins took a flight to Singapore for a 6 days 5 nights trip. We stayed in our uncle's house which actually saved us a lot of cost.

These views are from the night river cruise but I couldn't remember where was this because our uncle drove us there instead of us taking the MRT.

Then after that three of us chilled at Timbre pub and bistro at near the Raffles MRT station but our uncle did not join us because my little cousin needs her sleep :(

We tried this huge burgers from Kraze Burgers in one of the mall,  not bad!

 

Finally we went to the harry potter exhibition which cost us $26, quite nice but we expected more :(

After Singapore, I also went to Bentong village and also Penang but not much special about it, just a relaxing trip :)

Hi...

The video was uploaded by me last year but I didn't really share it out yet until now, was just playing with my camera that time.
I had been feeling down and shitty ever since I started college in April 2012. The fact that I am a complete failure in the first semester, I have so many other problems as well. I think I have some serious mental issue about what other people look or judge on me, I have this scumbag brain which will always tell me statement that it might be or might not be true. Am I a bad person? Am I too proud or am I too quiet? I tried, I tried my best to change myself, but I just can't, I never do things right. As usual, a failure. I just realized that no matter what I do, I will never never be one of them, many of them. I feel so lonely and it will stay like this until the day I finally know what is my purpose to be down here.

Milkshake hairdye!

First time coloring my hair and also doing it by myself! First choice is the Milkshake hair dye because I have seen the results of others except this one, so decided to try it myself. Weehee, results = quite successful as it is not very dramatic or obvious, which I actually wanted it to be like that :)
