Trip to Laos

Myself had never heard of the country Laos before, but after this trip, I am starting to like this country. Laos is actually located above Thailand, most of them speak Thai and they use the currency called "kip". For us, RM1 = 2,500 kip for them, isn't that low? Means that we can actually buy a lot things at a low price for us.

These are the views outside my guest house, the guest house I stayed in is called Saysong, you can check it out here.

They have kayaking services for us as well, me and my sister actually kayak along the river for 6km under the sun. They even have tubing activity as well, I don't have the picture because I can't take photos when I am on the tube but it looks like this :

Then, there are also cave visiting activity. I visited around 3 caves and it looks like this inside :

It is quite hard for me to take photos because it is totally pitch black without a torch light. Without any light, it is actually as dark as closing your eyes, which means, it is pitch black. Yes, we tried switching off all our torch!
The typical Lao meal, the red color sauce is quite delicious.
This fish is also a very common fish for them, fresh from the river, and cooked on the spot for you. They still have a little bit of the river smell, it was quite gross at first, but after a few bites, it is actually delicious !!
 A normal breakfast for me.

For the whole trip, we only spent about RM800 per person, including flight tickets, food, shopping and also the staying. It can be lesser if you spend a little more wisely. I wish to go again , anyone? :)
